All the posts have to start with a good group shot! We were all dressed up for the opera of Romeo & Juliet. We were part of a historic second day of "Girl Scouts at the Opera". It was great. We were able to learn about four different parts of what makes an opera show run smoothly.
The first stop was "hair, make-up and costumes". The speaker took one girl from the audience and made her up for a show. She did half of her face so we could see how different she looked.
Our next stop was "voice coaching". Charolotte really gave it her all with the exercises.
Mrs. Lynn loves to try new things.

After the morning session we headed to lunch at the Spaghetti Factory. We ate it all!!!! Then we returned to the Schuster Theatre to see the production of Romeo & Juliet. It was wonderful. We saw the first two of three acts. No one wanted to leave and it was even subtitled!!
