How much fun did we have at Sugarcreek Metropark? Tons. We played a few games with a Park Ranger. Emma M. and Autumn were very good at being "it". They could really spot people! Everyone else did their best to hide behind stumps and trees and avoid being sighted.
After the games in the nature play area, we headed over to the prairie to play hide and seek. We hid in the field just like the animals. We came home with a ton of burrs stuck in our clothes. The Ranger had walkie-talkies for each group so that we could communicate if there was a need.
Charlotte found a caterpillar out on the prairie.
After Sugarcreek we headed over to Karen's for a campfire. I don't know what Emma and Autumn are doing in this next picture. Robot dance?
I will not be asking Emma M. to make a s'more for me anytime soon!
